SPRING ALLERGY AND ADAPTOGENIC FUNGI

BY: Marisa Aguirre Marcori

Spring is one of the most anticipated seasons of the year. It stimulates the cleansing of the body, the renewal, and shows us a unique abundance in nature. For many people this is a time that causes annoying symptoms and fatigue that prevents them from enjoying what this seasonal change brings.

What is spring allergy?

It is an exaggerated reaction of the immune system to certain volatile compounds in the environment, pollen being one of them, which are the most reactive and abundant in Spring.

The substances that generate this reaction are called allergens and are the ones that exaggeratedly trigger the inflammatory response in the body. They cause coughing, mucus, sneezing, irritation of the mucous membranes or excessive fatigue known as spring asthenia.

This usually happens because the immune system and some physiological functions are weakened or confused.

Prevention and treatment

An important aid to reduce allergies is supplementation with adaptogenic mushrooms that favor the general rebalancing of the organism by acting where the organism needs it.

COKARE's Reishi, Agaricus Blazei and Cordyceps mushrooms have proven anti-inflammatory and  antihistamine qualities that improve the physiological  response to allergens. Providing a detoxifying effect,  protecting the microbiota and helping to regulate chronic stress.
